Aimee is now 5 months - WOW! She is getting so big and active. She spends a lot of time on her belly getting ready to crawl. She is now rolling over from her tummy to her back and then back to her tummy. She laughs and talks a whole lot. She will laugh at almost anything you do.

4 month check up

Aimee went in for her 4 month check up on September 27 and had another round of shots. This time she didn't even notice what was going on until they were finished giving her the 2 shots. Then she started to cry. Aimee now weighs 15 lbs and is 23 inches. She is still only in the 30th percentile for her height, so I think she is going to be a shorty.

Aimee is already 4 months old. Where has the time gone. She is now eating some baby food and enjoying it very much. We can't get it into her mouth fast enough for her sometimes. She is playing a lot more with her toys and making herself known. She is very talkative.

Can you believe it, Aimee is already 3 months. She is growing so fast. She is now holding her head up, talking a lot and starting to laugh. We got out some of the many toys she has gotten and is starting to hold on to them and look at the colors. ,

We went on our first family camping trip with my family to Henry Cowel State park in Felton. We went down to the river for the afternoon on Saturday and spent Sunday just relaxing around the camp.

At Aimee's 1st doctor visit she was 4 days old and went from 7lbs 10oz and 18 1/2 inches long to only 7lbs and 19 inches long. Her second visit was today, 2 weeks 4 days, and she now weighs 8lbs 12oz and is 20 1/4 inches. She also had her 1st shot.

Aimee left Merced for the first time on Thursday for meet-and-greets in Atwater, Turlock and Modesto. She was introduced to people at the bakery where Amanda works, and at my former employer in Turlock. We also took her to see Amanda's old co-workers at JC Penney's in Modesto, but the most important visit of the day was to my 90-year-old great-grandmother's house in Modesto. Aimee met her great-great grandmother, Lee Marini, for the first time on Thursday.

We would like to say thank you to all our family and friends for all the great gifts we have received for Aimee. We are very lucky and have had 4, yes 4, baby showers. Amanda's friend Janis gave her one and her friends from JC Penney's. Amanda's sisters gave her one (which was awesome), Brandon's family threw us a surprise shower and Brandon's work gave one for him. We now have lots of work ahead of us to go through all her new stuff and put it together.

February 2, 2007 and 25 weeks - Aimee is 1 1/2 - 2 lbs and aprox. 13 inches long. To put it into perspective she is the size of a kleenex box or 2 juice boxes stacked on top of each other.

Our offer on this house was accepted today. If all the inspections come up clean, it will be ours by next month. It's very neat, nice and spacious. It has three bedrooms and a large game room with a good sized backyard.
